JSDialog Pack (VCL) acquired by LMD Innovative
May 30, 2013LMD Innovative is proud to announce the acquisition of JSDialog Pack from JED Software.
The agreement covers all components of JSDialogPack and is effective immediately. Under the brand “LMD DialogPack” controls will available from the LMD Innovative web site. Trials and new LMD installers will be available soon.
JSDialogPack is one of the most versatile and extensive toolbox for the creation of dialogs which mimic the look and feel of the system TaskDialog (which was introduced with Windows Vista). It goes far beyond similar solutions by supporting fully customizable edit dialogs and dialog sheets. Besides that usage at designtime is greatly enhanced by entensive editors and experts (including ready to use editor templates and automatic generation of source code). Unlike the recently released NG DialogPack this component will be assigned to the LMD VCL line and hence supports Delphi 6+ and C++Builder 2006 and better.
The existing TaksDialog implmentation in current LMD Core will be moved to Legacy/Compatibility packages.
To allow a smooth transition for existing JSDialog customers there will be marginal changes to the last JSDialog release only (package name changes, no unit- or type-name changes).
Existing JSDialog Pack customers can request personal access data for the new LMD DialogPack download areas. They can also upgrade to any major LMD line by purchasing update versions. For requests please mail to sales@lmd.de.
LMD DialogPack will be integrated into the upcoming LMD 2014 product line and actively supported and improved by the LMD VCL team. LMD DialogPack will be part of LMD-Tools, ElPack, IDE-Tools and LMD VCL Complete 2014.
